Anne Broyles has published books and articles on parenting, social
action, health care, spirituality, travel, peacemaking, biblical
studies, immigration, ethics, and AIDS. She retired from the United
Methodist ministry to focus on literature for children and young
adults, including the upcoming Priscilla and the Hollyhocks
(Charlesbridge, 2007) and historical fiction about the Cherokee Trail
of Tears, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Ellis Island. Anne is represented by
the Erin Murphy Literary Agency and is a longtime member of SCBWI
(Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators).
