Deborah Davis is the author of two award-winning novels for young people and the editor of a teen mother anthology, You Look Too Young to be a Mom. A skilled and compassionate writing instructor, Deborah specializes in building confidence in hesitant writers of all ages. Deborah lives in Berkeley, CA, with her husband and son, where she is finishing a young adult novel for Clarion (due out 2007) and working on another YA novel about an ambitious high school junior whose parents pull her off her carefully planned pre-med track to spend a life-changing year in India.
