Maria Victoria was born in Veracruz, Mexico, but has been a Washingtonian since 1978. She was an English major who became an attorney, and then she began writing again a couple of years ago. Maria writes in both English and Spanish, and her first novel was published by Ediciones B. Click here to take a look at her book. Today she writes and works with the Latino community. Maria belongs to the following Latino writing organizations: Circulo Latinoamericano de Lectura, Los Norteños, Mujer Entre-Letras, and Raíz, Palabra, Voz. She also enjoys the outdoors.
