Sharon was born in London, graduated with a medical degree from Cambridge University, and has worked in mental health in Kitsap County, Washington, since 1985. She is currently a co-editor of Literary Salt, an online journal featuring poetry, fiction, non-fiction, art and photography. Examples of her poetry and visual art can be found in Issue 1.
