Short Bio
A native New Yorker and former union organizer, I now live in the Heartland, where I teach and consult on social change, create alternative Jewish ritual, write, and generally make trouble. For the last handful of years, my writing has used biblical text to explore current events and the human condition. Now that the last of my 3 step-daughters has left the nest, I've become totally obsessed with learning ballroom dance.
