Dr. Tiffany E. Slater is the CEO and Senior Human Resources Consultant for HR TailorMade - THE human resource (HR) solution for small businesses. HR TailorMade partners with small businesses to provide seamless HR services for their firm.

Tiffany has been an HR professional for over 20 years with experience in performance management, leadership development, recruiting, retention, benefits administration, employee relations, training development and facilitation, risk management, and policy development. She has experience in a variety of sectors including union and non-union, PK-12 public education, property management, manufacturing, and casino industries to name a few.

Tiffany earned a PhD in Organization Development and a Masters of Human Resources Management. She is a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional, Certified John Maxwell coach, trainer and speaker, Myers Briggs facilitator, and True Colors trainer. She is a continual learner and always willing to share that knowledge with others.

One of her greatest joys is inspiring others to reach their highest level of achievement. Which is why she is so passionate about helping small businesses attract and retain the best talent. Her live series, “Conversations with Consultants”, highlights necessary resources that help make life and work as a business owner easier - creating a work environment that promotes joy for the owner and their team.

Tiffany manages to find time in her busy schedule to volunteer, be a highlighted expert on the podcast “I learned it From a 80’s Song”, featured in an article in Shoutout Colorado Magazine, and a featured business on “Good Morning Saint Louis”. She also served on the Saint Louis COVID-19 Small Business Task Force which clearly defined and addressed short- and mid-term challenges presented by the economic downturn. In March 2022, Dr. Slater was celebrated as a Stellar Woman Business Leader by the Missouri Minority Business Development Agency.

Tiffany is in her happy place when at the spa, watching movies, or having tickle-fests with her two boys and husband. Having great conversations with other women about successes, failures and life in general fill her cup. Overall, family and friends create the ultimate safe zone and happy place when she is not hard at work.
